I haven’t been blogging for a couple of weeks so I’m behind in reporting the first Spring babies at Wild Angels. You might remember me saying that squirrels have TWO baby seasons – Spring and Fall. Sometimes the first babies at Wild Angels in the Spring are baby bunnies. But this year it was squirrels.
The first baby is a male fox squirrel. He was about 4 weeks old when Older received him. She carries her babies back and forth with her to work. So a couple of days after she received this little guy, she sent me a picture of him in the crate. He was sleeping on his back and I thought she was just showing me what a darling he is.
I texted back - How cute! And she responded with another picture.
Wait. WHAT?? TWO squirrels in the crate! She laughed and texted that a family had called and talked to her about finding a baby squirrel lying beside their porch. They don’t know if a dog or cat brought it there, but there were no injuries (thank goodness!). This one is also about 4 weeks old and a little girl. The two babies are good company for each other. They are eating well and doing great.
Spring has sprung and Wild Angels' baby season has begun.
Too cute to find words to describe! Thanks to older daughter for all she does for the wild life -How is Daffy doing? Still more prayers for Daffy.

Oh my heavens, they are adorable! I know they are in the right spot with Wild Angels, she'll get them healthy and back into the wild as soon as possible!
Friends, Wild Angels has no funding, so if you have a mind to, please donate through their facebook page and help her feed these babies and all the others you know are coming since spring is here! Thank you!
Don't forget Winnie's Wish can always use donations too, wish list items are always needed and at the moment there is a raffle for a fancy kitty sofa, so check that out too!
Thank you!

Such sweeties. They will now have a chance to live well and find their place in the natural world.
