2021

Hello fellow animal lovers.  We now have 2020 in the rearview mirror.  I know 2021 will be a better year – surely.  I hope those of us who love animals will challenge ourselves to help both domestic animals and wildlife in the year (and years) to come.  I’m going to work to educate myself this year on everything “environmental.”  Saving the planet means saving the place we humans call home.  But it’s home to all of the wildlife and pets, too.  I’m hoping humans will make exceptional progress on caring for the animals of our world in this new decade. 

And speaking of helping animals.     These gifts arrived for Winnie’s Wish – home of 32 rescued felines.

Here’s the cat tree from that picture, built & moved to the cat house.  Theo and Tinkerbell were the first to try it out.

[Addendum:  I wrote this and put it in my drafts file last week.  On Friday one of my Wisher kitties (Bunny) started vomiting.  Then she stopped eating.  Fluids and force-feeding did not work over the weekend.  She went to the vet yesterday morning.  Please hope with me for a positive outcome.]
