Andrea’s Auction!!

So yesterday I got my “December” post up on the blog.  I was having a rather bad morning.  One of our family kitties is rapidly declining.  Jazzy is doing very poorly.  In addition, our Ressie dog had been vomiting since midnight and was continuing to do so.  Luckily I had a medication that a dear friend (Virginia of Poupounette) had sent to me.  We eventually got Ressie settled.  I’d been finding diarrhea in one of the litter boxes and couldn’t identify who it was.  Then yesterday morning, I finally discovered that it was Mango (one of the two orange kittens).   Let’s just say I was a little stressed.   Ressie and Mango will be fine.  But it's possible we might be losing our Jazzy cat.  So at one point yesterday morning, I was actually in tears.  Not long after that, I received a text from Friend Andrea.  The text said – Auction starts today!  I stared for a moment, then texted her back – WHAT????!!!!  You gave no indication!  She texted back that she had actually hoped to launch last week but that it was now ready to go and that nobody knew about it yet.  I texted back that this was the first good news I’d had that day and that it couldn’t have come at a better time.

So here it is Friends!  You know Andrea has done these auctions for WW many times in the past.  This one will be a quick one – only two weeks!  So please pop over and visit Andrea’s Auction.  I know how much work she puts into these events.  And Winnie’s Wish ALWAYS needs the help with so many kitties to care for.  I visited the auction and nearly every item is CAT-themed.  And those beds!!!!  Beautiful stuff!!

Hope your cat makes it and all gets better -especially Ressie. Lost beloved pet Tiger last week - his liver failed and I did not see it - just thought he was an old cat who had a previous throat injury. I did not get him to the doctor soon enough. If only I had known it was his liver and he needed fluids - he had a stroke as they were giving him the fluids. If only we could speak cat and dog - speak. Andrea is a true friend of the furries.
