Ginny& the Fur Family

We all can feel your pain. Wonderful memories remain-but the heart never forgets. The way the light shined in their sweet eyes will stay with us. But like you- we who rescue would never have lived another kind of life. Some folks have expensive clothes -furniture and such, but we give the best of everything to the furries. When it is Vet time for shots and check ups we hear cha-- cching ! as our bank account drops. We always make it somehow. There is a great god of furries that sees us through.Bless the soul of Mama Monday. You gave her your all. She was loved.

It is the hard part of rescue. We do the best we can knowing the heartbreak we will face. These lives are important

What you have undertaken is extraordinary and there is no doubt that it will bring you much pain over the years. But it will also bring you much pleasure and it will bring so much comfort to each and every one of those cats. It is easy to focus on that sharp pain of loss and forget the everyday smiles and happiness. Hang in there, Chrystal!

Andrea and the Celestial Kitties

It IS a life and it IS happiness and it IS so much better than they would have had without you and Winnie's Wish! I'm grateful that Momma Monday had you in her life and lived in peace and comfort and with love and care. You did good by her. And you do good by the rest of them. Yes, it's heartbreaking, but it's good too because they would probably all be gone if they had been left in feral situations.

Yay for donations!!
Please, if you can, send a donation or a wish list item, Winnie's Wish needs us! Every bit, small and large, is appreciated!

It doesn't surprise me at all, Chrystal, that you feel the way you do. Even though the Wishers do not live in your home, you love them just as if they were all your own pets. It is brutal to lose even one, so my heart aches for your loss of Momma Monday and all the losses to come. Remember, though, that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Can we even imagine our lives without the furry ones who have shared our hearts and homes? Their lives and yours are so much richer because you had each other. Thinking of you, my friend!

Hi Chrystal, I had to think about this for a full day before I could respond. We only have 3 cats & just the thought of losing them upsets me so I can only imagine how 32 would feel. Then I thought, think of the loving, caring, safe lives you have given each of these animals which I'm sure most would never have had. We can't take away the pain of losing them but, we can rejoice in the love & pleasure of having them in our lives & knowing they were loved & cared for. Wish you a safe & happy week.

Crystal it is so hard when any of our dear furs leave us. We do gain some solace in that they had safety and comfort but our hearts still grieve. Purrs and prayers from us all

Thirty-two more passings is a great deal of sorrow to look forward to, but know that it means thirty-two lives enriched by love and security, thirty-two lives given comfort and companionship. I lost two of my cats on the same day in May, and with all my others seniors or middle-aged, I don't imagine they will leave me too far apart in time. This will be a heavy price to pay for having their love, and for giving them a home. But if they are happy while they are with me, it is small price, I think. God bless you for your kindness.
