I am always thrilled when gifts from my Wish List arrive here for Winnie’s Wish. Sometimes someone sends a gift to celebrate the Gotcha Day of their cat(s) if adopted from Winnie’s Wish. Andrea has done a birthday gift drive for MY birthday a couple of times. Also, Christmas is an awesome time for receiving Wish List gifts. What I didn’t expect was to receive some Wish List items as a result of the worldwide pandemic. I know there isn’t much to celebrate about covid-19, but it sure was wonderful to receive Wish List gifts at this time and for that reason.
The first delivery came from Friend and Supporter Maria.
Maria – THANK YOU.
Then Andrea sent a “pandemic gift” after we were emailing about how difficult it has gotten to find pet supplies.
Andrea – THANK YOU.
Andrea explained that her gift had originally included a bag of Seafood Sensations as well, but she was eventually notified that it couldn’t be delivered. SO – Andrea decided to send a second gift. This time it was in honor of her Leo’s Gotcha Day. Andrea adopted Leo (and later his two sisters) from Winnie’s Wish. Take a look at what came for Leo’s Gotcha Day celebration.
Andrea (and Leo) – THANK YOU.
All of us across this nation are having difficulty finding the things we need. But something that is starting to trouble me a little is that even places online are now out of so many things. After not being able to find many of the basics I need for the Wishers, I started trying to order from Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, and even Target. So far, with the Wish List gifts and what I’ve been able to order, the Wishers still have what they need. But it seems to be getting harder and harder to track down the important basic items. So thank you Maria and Andrea for thinking of the Wishers during this troubling time.
I hope all of you are staying well . . . and staying home.
I will be doing a Wildlife Wednesday post tomorrow because Older Daughter has some new babies. See you then.
I have found a few bags of tidy cat at the
Dollar general stores. This Virus cramps living style very much. Those are such nice gifts. Sanctuary animals are in constant need of care and food. Prayers for this to be over soon. Stay well all. Donate to this good cause.

Yay for gifts! So glad everything arrived! Hopefully more is coming!
Friends, anything you can do to help the wisher stay fed and cared for at this time is appreciated! Even a five dollar donation helps as they all add up! Won't you please consider sending a wish list item or donation?
Thank you!

We are so glad to see you got some gifts. We have enough, now, but were worried. We are going to see what we can afford to send to the wishers
