Andrea and the Celestial Kitties

Oh those poor kitties! They have no clue why they got moved from their home and there's no way to tell them it'll be ok! That's the hardest part, isnt it? poor babies. We're purring and praying that they settle in soon! That it really will be ok soon!

Awesome cat tree! Yay for wish list things arriving! Friends, more kitties means more food and more litter! If you can, send some Wish List items! Or make a donation! Any little bit helps! Thank you!!!

Our rescue-group knows about returns, too. It is a very disheartening event. My Tucker, adopted after I fostered him for a while, was returned after five years with a family; he had been with them since he was a kitten. Do you know what happened with Peeta and Toast? I recall when they were adopted. Five years…

Oh, I am heartbroken! I don't know the circumstances of the return, but I think most of us who read this blog feel that we would never, ever, part with our fur babies as they are integral, important members of our family. The only life they have really known has been snatched from them, and of course they are freaked out. Thankfully, they have Winnie's Wish to go back to!

Such a sad story. Why were they returned after so long a time? It is a big job to take care of that many kitties and see to their needs. I have a lot myself. I Won't adopt any out because 4 are ferals. This has always been their home. That cat tree is a great thing. I go through about 4 big ones a year when they are completely shredded. Poor Peeta and toast. Prayers they will soon adjust. It breaks ones heart to see fur babies so scared. Maybe things will get better soon. Rescuers just keep moving ahead. Because that is all one can do. So many kittens come every year with no homes awaiting.

Yikes! Five years. That just seems crazy. I guess circumstances change but ...
I remember when they were adopted and I'm glad they were able to come back to you vs. being dumped, Craisglist, surrendered to a shelter or worse. It will work out somehow

This blog was about dogs and cats for many years; now it is mostly about cats. It is the home of Winnie’s Wish Cat Sanctuary. You can scroll down to see pictures of the Winnie’s Wish cats and kittens who were adopted over the years.
