It seems a pretty fast return for poor Lou. If she were a cat, a growl or a hiss at another cat would be just part of the integration process, and I'd have given it more time. Is it different with dogs?

Well done, Andrea, as always!

Ginny & the Fur Family

Maybe Lou is still hoping that her former owner returns and when she saw she was in a different house it was upsetting all around. Keep praying she gets a new home where she is the only pet. Andrea once again is such a great person and does such nice work. We read all she writes and love the way she supports Winnies Wish. I hope some one adopts Weeble the sweet little gray kittie.

Thanks for the share. Great to hear Zane found a wonderful home to go too. Don't worry Lou. You are just testing the field so they can find you a fantastic home to go too. Great to see the wonderful gift you received from Alyssa. Have a great day everyone.

So disappointed to hear about Lou....I was so hoping that it would work out!! Very happy about Zane, though....it's the adoptions that keep us all doing what we do! Andrea, you are certainly a blessing for Winnie's Wish...thank you!!

Andrea and the Celestial Kitties

Love hearing about adoptions! I know Lou will find a perfect home, hopefully soon! Love seeing gifts come in! Remember friends, every penny and every item sent helps the kitties!! Please do what you can! Thank you!

I always feel disappointed when a dog (or cat) is returned so quickly.I wish people would understand that animals don't have words and they some times need to use a growl , or snap, or hiss, or swat to communicate fear and uncertainty during a period of adjustment. Our recently rescued dog was growling at everyone at first, not letting my husband cuddle next to me and doing all sorts of naughty things until she eventually felt secure enough to drop all her "attitude" to show us the AMAZING dog she always was.She simply needed to adjust and it took a few months, not weeks!! Hopefully Lou will soon find a home filled with patient people.

Hope all is well with you and yours Chrystal XO
