How wonderful that so many stepped up to help these dog, they are such cuties too. Grateful only two were shot and who knows why...some people are just mean and knew they would get away with it.
Thanks to you, your daughters and all the others the good out weighs the bad :)))

Ginny & the Fur Family

This situation that started out with good intentions just got out of hand. I feel the man felt sorry for a few strays and took them in but got sick and it all went crazy. He should have called the humane society but some don't because they feel the dogs will be killed. The ones your shelter took look so sweet and adoptable. Good work to you all.

They look like very friendly, cheerful dogs - except for Betsy, but she’ll come around. I think their former human liked them a great deal and spent time being their friend. Cloudy has an interesting look. I hope they all find good homes soon.

Random Felines

so glad that rescues were able to step up and help - how sad for those last two dogs though. hopefully all of them are in good shape and can find their new forever homes soon

They all look like happy healthy dogs and it's so wonderful that so many places stepped in to help. It's so dreadful that those two frightened dogs were shot. I can't comprehend what is in the soul of people who would do that. Thank you Chrystal and your family for helping as you always do. Prayers that they all find loving homes.

No one ever said that animal rescue was not fraught with sadness and dismay. What would posses someone to go out and shoot dogs? We'll never know, but Chrystal, you must focus (and I know you do!) on the ones you and other organizations saved. That's all any of us can do. We cannot save them all, but the ones we do save are SO worth it!! Happy lives, sweet puppies!!

Andrea and the Celestial Kitties

Oh goodness. Really have to wonder what the old man was thinking. They look in decent shape, so he was at least taking care of them. here's hoping they find forever homes fast!

Know who else needs a forever home? Wishers! Please look at the kitties on the sidebar and help find home for one or two!

Don't forget donations and wish list items!
