A week from today begins the Auction to benefit the Winnie’s Wish Building Fund.  Thanks to Ann of Zoolatry, THIS is what went out to dog and cat folks in the blogosphere. 

If you have an item to donate, email Marg  (margaretmsan AT gmail DOT com).  She needs a picture of the item, a brief description, a starting bid, and who will pay postage (you or winning bidder).  If you don’t have an item to donate, you might find something at the Auction that you would like to bid on.  I will have the link to the Auction on my blog when the Auction opens for viewing/bidding.  If you are willing to advertise the Auction on your blog that would be SO appreciated. 

This won’t be the last time I’ll say this, but gigantic thanks to the three amazing women who are putting this Auction together for Winnie’s Wish – Ann of Zoolatry, Andrea of Celestial Kitties, and Marg of Marg’s Animals.

Now here is a word about another fundraiser – the Cozy Kitty FUNdraiser.

  This is the fundraiser that Andrea (Celestial Kitties) put on this Winter.  She made cozy cat beds and sold them to benefit Winnie’s Wish.  Andrea is amazing.  She has had several toy FUNdraisers, and now this one with her fantastic beds.  Andrea is tireless when it comes to helping Winnie’s Wish.  She is appreciated more than she will EVER know!     Andrea and I discussed what to do with the money she raised with her Cozy Kitty FUNdraiser.  As tempting as it would be to put that money into the building fund, it takes a tremendous amount of money to keep this rescue afloat in terms of the costs of daily needs and ongoing vet care.  Andrea’s FUNdraisers have literally helped me keep my rescue going.   Andrea always sends a list of the people who participate in her FUNdraisers.  So to EACH of you who participated, THANK YOU SO MUCH. 

And Andrea – THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

 

I have a story tomorrow that certainly highlights one of the reasons Winnie’s Wish needs to build another room.  And this is the countdown week to Valentine’s Day weekend.  There are some special sweethearts here who need homes.  Wouldn’t Valentine’s Week be the perfect time for someone to choose one of these sweet treats!

A little furry love for Valentines day?? Sounds good to me! Lets be sure to share the kitties everywhere so our friends and our friends' friends can find their very own furry love!
I'm so glad the Cozy Kitty FUNdraiser did as well as it did, thanks to all of you! This keeps the kitties in food and litter and vet care for a while! Because even while we're raising money for the room, every day those kitties eat and use litter! And heat!
Cant wait for the auction! So if you can't either, then make a gofundme donation?! Every dollar helps!

Valentines day is a good time to have a fund raiser. I will go check out the items. There are always so many needs that arise in the daily care of rescue animals. All these have to be met on a daily basis. Donate and check out the auction and every bit helps a rescuer. Cool weather is coming again next week. Say a prayer for out door furries and ones with out love to keep them comforted.

Auction item in! Also, my Pete LOVES his Cozy Kitty bed. Pete is so spoiled, when the sunbeam no longer hits the bed, someone in the family will move his bed so that it's in the sun again. We love our Petey boy!
