It’s hard to believe, but Nisha – one of the West Woods Gang – is moving into the “adoptables” list. This gal was the last to show up in this Fall’s strange discovery of cats living in the dense West Woods that butts up against our property. The four in this cat family made their way from those woods into my yard over a period of many weeks. (Nisha was the last to be caught but is the first of the group to tame.) Like the others, Nisha had ticks. And like the others, she was hungry and unaltered (obviously). The vet who did her spay surgery said she had already had multiple litters of kittens in her lifetime. There is no real indicator for how old she is. She appears to be a relatively young cat, but definitely at least two or three years old.
Here’s why someone should adopt Nisha. She is SO sweet. Not an aggressive bone in her body. No hissing. But talk? Oh, yes. This girl is a talker. She greets me at the door and talks to me off and on the entire time I’m working. She loves to be petted. She lets me hold her. The purring starts the minute I touch her or even look at her. She WANTS human attention. And she is BEAUTIFUL. This one is a winner all around.
Will you help me share this post? Wouldn’t it be wonderful for Nisha to get a Home for the Holidays!
Have a great weekend.
she is adorable....and considering her age and demeanor, makes us suspect someone dumped her. we hope she can get a home for Christmas

Oh Yay for Nisha! I hope she gets a home fast fast fast! Know how that happens? We share! We post everywhere! We tell our friends and we ask around at work and church and everywhere we regularly go!
We can get Nisha, and the rest of the Winnie's Wishers, into great homes if we all just do something!

If Nisha has had several litters it makes me sad to think what may have happened to those kittens. Maybe she was dropped because someone had not spent the time and money to have her fixed at an early age. Or maybe some more cats live in the west woods and are surviving on bugs and mice etc. Maybe you should set the cage with food once more for a few days. The cold weather is brutal and may make some one else seek shelter. She is very beautiful and would make some one a wonderful furry for Christmas. Please some one out there adopt this sweet girl. She needs her own human family. Love is warm - Love is furry - love is forever... Ginny & the Fur Family

What a sweet girl, I love it when they are talkers!!! Our Jimmy (formerly Ash) always answers me with his delightful chirps and murps when I speak to him...it cracks Robert up every time :-)
