Here goes another push for the bonded pair – Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. PLEASE share this post on Facebook, Twitter, wherever you can. I appreciate your help so much! (some new pictures of them in this post)
This is a sister-brother pair who need to be adopted together. They started life in a feral colony at an abandoned hotel in Florida. They were saved from the colony by Cheryl - a wonderful person, now a dear friend of mine. We were lucky to get this pair on a transport from Florida to me here at Winnie’s Wish in southern Illinois. But these two have been here for a year and a half. They deserve to start living in a wonderful home with a forever family of their very own.
Because of their feral start, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan will need a patient, loving home. They will more than likely have a longer than average adjustment period. But once they DO adjust, these two will be the light of someone’s life. They are gentle and sweet, loving and beautiful.
Tinkerbell and Peter Pan share one particular mannerism that is completely endearing and really sad at the same time. When I pet them, and I start to pull away, each one grabs my hand with their front paws and pulls it back. They don’t want me to leave. They want me to stay and pet them.
Peter Pan hides quite a bit from the other cats. He is a smaller-than-average male and I think he feels intimidated. Tinkerbell nearly turns upside down when I approach her. She is always so excited when I head in her direction. She runs and jumps from surface to surface following me all the way to the front door when I leave. I look back in and she’s staring at me through the glass.
Won’t you please spread the word about Tinkerbell and Peter Pan! It would be fantastic to get them into a home for the holidays.
Have a great weekend.
This is a beautiful pair of furries. I love the way they love each other. They would soon adjust to a home with not more that a pair of cats. I do hope someone adopts them together. They have always been together and that is the way they would be the happiest. It is a cool windy day and the leaves are letting go and flying in the wind all over the front porch here in fur a way land. This is the perfect time to adopt your furries for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Have a blessed furry day and contact Chrystal to adopt Tinker bell and Peter pan

Are they spayed/neutered? Do they still have claws? Can I get them today?

Erin, I can tell you that no cat leaves Winnie's Wish without being spayed/neutered. There would be too many babies in the cathouse if they weren't already! :)
Please people, lets find a great home for these kitties! They deserve it, they need it, it's past time! We can do this, please share them everywhere!! Not just social media, but email your friends, print a picture of them and post it at work, talk to your family and friends! Someone is missing their furry family members and you can be instrumental in bringing them together!
Don't forget donations, wish list and the book! (FUNdraiser starting soon for Winnie's Wish at Celestial Kitties also!)
