In trying to stay with a Christmas theme, I’d like to start off with
The three little kittens have lost their mittens . . .
Only today’s story is that the three little piggies have found their forever homes . . . (Hmmm, not much of a rhyme there.)
Do you remember Gwennie? She gave birth to four pups here at my kennel (three survived). She had been taken out of the pound by Older Daughter and it was discovered that she was pregnant. I have been fostering her here ever since. She gave birth, and after the one loss the other three quickly became fat little piggie balls.
These were the pups who were part of the Name Game. Mindy’s mom CJ (Pugs & Purrs) won the drawing and the piggies received their names.
Not too long ago the shelter posted Gwen’s pups on their FB page. One by one they have been chosen. Stephanie went to a home over a week ago. Then a few days ago, Ranger went to his new home. Yesterday Morelli and Gwen rode to the shelter with Older Daughter on her way to work. Morelli was going to a home, and Gwennie to the shelter with the hopes that she will now be seen and given a home of her own.
As always, it was hard to let my little piggie family go. But I am extremely happy that these babies were adopted straight from here into homes instead of growing up in the shelter. Now I’ll keep my fingers crossed that Mom Gwen will get a home soon, too.
See you tomorrow.
I hope Gwen gets a wonderful forever home where she is loved and adored before the week is out. A nice girl like her should not have to wait too long in a shelter.
Much Love,
Mindy :)

Oh, they are so adorable! And all adopted? Woohoo! Thanks for making my day with this wonderful news. We're purring and praying for sweet Gwen to find her own forever home very soon, too.

Great news about Mitts and the pups and maybe Gwennie will have Christmas luck - She is so sweet looking. This has been a good week with adoption news. Keep those adoptions coming and give Chrystal a Merry Christmas present with more precious babies in loving forever homes. Computer is doing its lazy thing today and not getting me to where I need to go... made it finally - have a good night and bless each and every one who loves the furries... Ginny & The Fur Family
