The Holiday Season. It’s fun to try to find ways to make blog posts “holiday-ish”. Sometimes it requires quite a stretch - like yesterday when I told you about my three little piggie pups getting homes and I tried to use three little kittens who lost their mittens. . . But today, the title requires no stretch at all. Meet Jingle Bells:
This precious little girl is being fostered by Older Daughter. Her name is Jingle Bells, and when you’re around her for very long you start to understand why. She is such a little joy. She kind of just jingles around being cute until you find yourself smiling.
Jingles was observed being hit by a car. The person who witnessed this event called the pound. The person in charge at the pound called the shelter. Little Jingles was picked up, brought in, and immediately given vet care for a broken leg. She was also given her name.
Because of her cast, Jingle Bells needed a place to stay other than a shelter cage. Older Daughter is fostering her through her recovery stage. On Sunday, Miss Jingle Bells stayed with me for the day while Older Daughter was out of town. We played and talked and took pictures. I ended up telling Older Daughter that she is stronger than I am. I wonder if I could foster a Jingle Bell and then let her go as Older Daughter must. She carries Jingles around, takes her to work during the day, and home every night. Jingle Bells is receiving the care she needs and the love EVERY animal deserves. Another sad story with a happy middle. Now let’s all hope that Jingle Bells will get the perfect home when that cast comes off - to make for the perfect ending.
See you tomorrow.
I'll pray that Jingle Bell finds her forever home once she is healed and ready to be adopted.
Much Love,
Mindy :)

Jingle Bells is a little girl with a lot of Moxie- look at that leg and see how much she wants to run again. I think if I had to care for her I would fall head over heels in love and never could let her go - older daughter is just the perfect mother for her now - she needs so much more love than being in a cage in the shelter. Please- some one who reads this blog take her into your heart and into your home. She, like all animals, are so deserving of our love. - Warm Wishes for a cold day - Ginny & The Fur family

I bet that Jingle Bells will get a home ASAP!! She's a doll! I'm sure Gwen will as well. What wonderful news you've had lately. I'm praying that it keeps doing that way.

Aw what a cutie! Doesnt look like she's letting that broken leg slow her down any! I hope she gets a wonderful forever home!
Speaking of wonderful forever homes! Look at the sidebar kitties, each and every one of them deserves a wonderful forever home all their own! Mitts, thank heavens, found hers!! Lets work at getting her sisters their homes, and the other older kitties and the kittens before they have to grow up in there! Not saying it's a bad place, it's a wonderful place! But it's not a forever home.. They deserve a person of their own, their own home, their own family.
Please, look around, see if you have room in your heart and home, see if your friends do, your family, your coworkers.
I second Kat, Clear the Cathouse by Christmas!
Get your books for Christmas too!
And the fundraiser! I'm thinking this is the last week to get them by Christmas day.. Though if you want them later, I'll still do them!
Donations always help too!
The biggest need is adoptions!!
