Those of you who read here are wonderful people. It is amazing to me that so many of you find happiness in knowing that a Winnie’s Wish kitty got a home or that a homeless cat or kitten has been taken into the safety of our cathouse. From your comments on Mitts’ adoption post and yesterday’s post about Circe, Glitter, and Cashmere, I know that you found real joy in knowing that the Gray Girls FINALLY got their very own homes. Knowing you care that much about the cats here warms my heart more than you will ever know.
This week I’d like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the furry ones here at my place. Dogs and cats are part of my family. But there are also donkeys and a pig. The donkeys are not terribly cooperative when it comes to pictures so I went back and grabbed a picture of them from the past. Arnold is happy any time he is outside rooting around in the yard. This continuous mild weather we’ve had is pig-perfect. So here they are - a small group of our furries wishing you a wonderful holiday season.

See you tomorrow when the dogs offer their holiday wishes.

I don't know why but pigs strike me as naturally happy creatures. Perhaps I think that they are easily pleased: a patch of dirt to roll in and a trough full of what other people don't eat. Hmm, I think I'm remembering children's books about farmyards...

Merry Christmas to Arnold and Radio and Jenny - love the hats on them. Tis the season to be jolly fa la la la la la la- All creatures great and samll are happy on the farm... love is all around them. Animals make a home a warm and loving place and there is always room for one more in the Inn... as mine age I HAVE HOPE because Chrystal has kept some of hers twice as long as mine. I hug them and wish I could tell them why they are feeling slow and having some difficulty when they walk.. If only they could speak.... I CAN DREAM - WARM WISHES TO ALL ... Ginny & THE fUR fAMILY

Remembering how bad Jenny was when you got her and how wonderful her life is now is an amazing story in itself! And Arnold, what a cutie! You have such a huge furry (do I remember that pigs have some kind of hair?) family and a heart as big as all outdoors! God bless you Chrystal, and your family and your furries (and non-furries if pigs dont have hair!)
So much wonderful adoption news lately, it's just amazing! But there are more kitties who need homes in that cathouse! If we try, we can think of more people who could use some furry love! Let's do what we can!
Books, donations, adoptions, lets keep the ball rolling!

Glogirly has had a thing for pigs ever since she was a little girl.
She just LOVES them. She says they are even smarter than cats.
I say that's a bunch of hogwash.
