If you look in my sidebar, you will see that I have removed the "on hold" status for Spritz. She still hides continuously and rarely comes out from underneath the couch when any of us humans steps into her cathouse world. I look in the window and I see her lounging with the others. I see her eating next to her housemates. And once in a great while, if I stay long enough after I finish the cathouse chores, Spritz will come out of hiding while I'm there. Last week she and I experienced just such a day. The pictures in today’s post are from that encounter.
Spritz is a SWEET girl. She has been the shyest of the four sisters for a long while now. She regressed so badly at one point that I changed her status in my sidebar to “on hold”. But this is what I know. Somewhere out there is a person who is willing to offer Spritz a forever home no matter how much of a challenge she might be. There is an angel out there somewhere who would allow Spritz all of the time and space she needs to adjust and blossom and become part of a family. I just have to find that person. Will you help me?
If there is someone reading this who is considering the possibility of offering Spritz a chance, you can rest assured that I will take her back if it doesn’t work out.

Friends, please pass this along. FB it, tweet it, share it, email it. Winnie's Wish is looking for the PERFECT home for Spritz. Is it you?
I wish I could take Spritz to my home. I wish I could do that with all the cats there. But then, if I could, I'd have to take all the ones waiting for homes here, first. There are so many.
But I wanted to comment that a shy cat will always come out of its shell for the right person or person. My big boy Renn used to run and hid at the sound of repairmen working across the street. Now, though he is cautious still, and always will be, he not only is brave and adventurous, he comes out to greet visitors he knows, and stays to receive chest rubs from them - all day long, if the visitors will put up with him!
If anyone is thinking of adopting Spritz, just remember that time and patience are to a cat what sound reasoning and logic are to an educated man - they will win them over in every instance.

I'm so glad to see Spritz taken off 'hold' I so want to see all of those sisters get a home! Not just because they are my Leo's sisters, but because they've been waiting so long! They are just so sweet and pretty that it breaks my heart that they haven't found their forever yet.
Please, if you can take a shy kitty, and help her bloom, please take Spritz. Take her with a sister, that might help her open up faster! And if you can't take her, think carefully over everyone you know, would one of them be the perfect home for her?
Look how many kitties are still in need of a home, please help find those homes. Don't forget the book! And donations are always helpful!

A shy kitty can be a great friend for someone who will spend the time and put out the love so the cat can feel that love is coming her way. All the gray girls are so beautiful and any would make wonderful pets. Consider spritz and Cashmere together and see if they would bond. It is cold and rainy here in Fur a way land today. late reading the blog because I had to run out to Wal- mart for supplies. The place was full and a lot of folks in the pet department - saw a lady who is a catty as I am. People were stocking up on litter and food. I love the pet department. I have a lot of older kitts and am always looking for new products that might make them feel better. Bought some little cotton fish filled with cat nip at the Project Hope benefit Sat and wish I had a bought more - the cats love them . The baked food was so good and the banana nut bread and lemon bars were to die for.. Let's give Spritz a shout out and prayers that she is chosen by a loving person for a forever loving home... I always think of the forrest animals and wish they could all find cover from the cold rain. Have a blessed day - Ginny & The Fur Family
