The week between Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day is an odd, sort of “limbo” week. There is a holiday letdown that many people experience as the current year is on its way out, and a new year looms ahead. At my kennel, this is a busy week. Christmas vacations are over, but post-Christmas vacations are beginning, and some folks go away to bring in the New Year. This particular Week Between has included some comings and goings that are worthy of a blog about dogs and cats. These things are happening here right now this week, and I will tell these stories starting next week. I haven't had a chance to blog about old man Peanut or China the Pom yet (though I’ve mentioned them), and you know that we have a Luna Lovegood leaving tomorrow. The stories that go with old Mr. Peanut and China the Pom will (ultimately) warm your heart. And I can hardly wait to tell the story of turning over Luna to Mindy and the Slimmer family. But there have been other developments here as well. Lots of good new stuff to start our New year. Soon. . . .
Of course, I'll try to post Luna's Transport Day story THIS Thursday.
Hope your Christmas weekend was wonderful.
I'm so excited for tomorrow. I look more forward to it than I did Christmas day. :)
Tomorrow's post will be all about Luna's treasure awaiting her beyond her news sibs and humans. :)
See you tomorrow! Weather looking fabulous for travel!!
-Mindy :)

Wishing you a safe trip to take luna to The Slimmer family - can't wait for you to tell about the trip and the story about Mr. Peanut and China Pom- snow is large and soft flakes here at Fur a Way land and I am sure it won't stick on the road-HOWEVER IT SURE LOOKS PRETTY, and I hope it doesn' snow where you are going on Wed. The weather is probable warm enough to melt the roads here and there - wishing you all well at the kennel. You are right about the let down after Christmas - but with an artificial tree I have decided the animals love to see the lights so much it will stay until after the New Years day -- they love getting the candy canes off the tree and chewing them up all over the floor. I keep a broom and dust pan on standby because as soon as I wake up I GO PICK UP A CANDY CANE - THEY ARE REAL- THEY DON'T EAT THEM, THEY BREAK THEM INTO A THOUSAND GLITTERING AND GLISTENING STICKY PEICES - HAPPY NEW YEAR - ALL-Ginny & The Fur Family
