Twenty adoptions and twenty bricks. As I shared in a previous post, if I can get homes for SIX more kitties, that would make TWENTY total adoptions in the first year of Winnie's Wish. TWENTY bricks would mean about $600 for the rescue work. That would be a great help in terms of spay/neuter surgeries, medical care, food, and kitty litter (oh so much kitty litter :-). After I pay the company for the bricks, and paypal takes their part, I can net about $30 a brick to go towards our work here. (Twenty bricks would also be a good number with which to make a great start on the Winnie's Wish Walkway.)
I spent the afternoon on the road yesterday. Picked up four boys who successfully underwent their neuter surgeries. All are doing well. Our vets have two clinics - took Waggles to the farther one for another cancer follow-up. Looks like there will be one more treatment. There is still something going on in one nasal passageway and in the roof of her mouth. What is there is minor compared to where we've been. Dr. K says the next treatment will require Waggles to be under for only about 10 minutes (compared to 45 minutes the previous two times).
Keep shopping and figuring out what you want on your brick. And please keep thinking about homes for kitties. Next week I will highlight more Winnie's Wish cats so that there is a wide selection from which to choose. (Scroll down to the Pick A Pair post to read about some of the choices.) There are about two weeks left in August. If I can get a good number of bricks by the end of the month, I'll place the first order. If we need to go a couple of weeks into September, that's fine, too. And if we can get some nibbles on kitties, I can start planning some fall transports. I just know somebody out there is looking for a wonderful addition to their family. Please come forward and kick off the adoptions for our Winnie's Wish one-year anniversary.
Have a great weekend!!
Still thinking about the brick - memorialize current Random Felines.....memorialize past Random Felines....what about kittens/momma cats that have crossed the Bridge. too many decisions... MOL
Let people know that we can help with transports. Mom is always up for an adventure. :)

Just sent my brick order! I'm too excited to see it when it's done! Leo's so proud, he's gonna burst his buttons!
Yay on the neuters! That means four more precious kitties ready for adoption?!! oh how I envy you new kitty adopters! Such sweet babies you're going to get. So get the ball rolling and pick your new kitty now! You know you want one! :)
Praying for Waggles next treatment, hope it's easier than the last one, on all of you!
Please please please more people pick your bricks too! Looks to me that without a minimum of five bricks, she wont be able to order and Leo really wants his. Chrystal's been there for so many kitties, lets be there for her now. Kitty lovers are the best!

YEA for Andrea and the Celestial kitties -I just sent my brick order for Andy and Mandy my heart dogs who are over the rainbow bridge.. I hope Chrystal got it because it took us a while to figure it all out but it is not hard once you hit the right buttons, - my computer went dead about that time so I had to get it back on line. Prayers for Waggles next treatment and the little boys that had surgery and are recoperating . Wish you all a great week end - warm wishes to all - Ginny & The Fur family

Am thrilled the bricks are now takig off! Let's hope the adoptions do too. Any home would be very lucky indeed to have such a lovely furry addition as one of your kits.
Have a good weekend. xx

I'm glad that all the boy's surgeries went well. Fingers crossed that Waggles' next procedure will be successful too!
