Fuzzy Tales

Oh, Chrystal...such a terrible roller coaster ride for all involved.

MEGA-watt Light and LOUD purrs from all of us at Fuzzy Tales.

We're sorry we can't offer more than cyber ((((hugs))) and kitty kisses.

Chrystal, I have to admit that I am very, very angry at the owner of poor little mits. Don't people realise how important vaccinations are? Poor, poor baby. I don't know whether the owner just wasn't educated or not on the risks, but do you plan to send her back there once she's better? Because she will get better. I refuse to think that little, lovely lady will leave this world because of someone else's inability to take her to a vet for a routine shot!

I hope all of them make a turn around and begin to recover. I'm just sorry I'm not closer so that I could come and help with all of the feeding.

On a lighter note, I can't wait to hear all about the new packages. When you have time, would you drop me a quick email and let me know how the things we sent went down in the cat house? I know your house cats liked the stuff, but really hope your adoptees did too!

Keep strong, Chrystal. Cuddle little Mits and remember why you put in all of those long, extra hours. You'll get through this

Cat's Cats

My heart is breaking for Mitts!!! All of us will try to help will her to stay around too. She has the best care at your house Chrystal if anyone can help its you and your daughters.

Poor Shell, I said EXACTLY the same thing that she reminded me of little Wintergreen...both fighters and both won the hearts of all who read about them.

Katnip Lounge

We are sending a huge blanket purr to all of you from all of us...paws crossed that EVERYBODY turns the corner and recovers. Mommy sends you strength, and love.

Random Felines

I wish I lived closer...I am so frustrated with my local rescues and it sounds like you could use the help. Please know we are purring for everyone!!!

The Poupounette Gang

We are sending lots and lots ad lots of purrs your way for little Mitts and Duchess. In all their misfortune, they have had the good fortune to have your love and caring. Hang in there!

I am so sorry to hear about Shell, I was also following her story.
All my hopes and prayers are with you , the girls and all the sick kitties.

Oh sweet darling Mitts we hope and pray you are able to get through this terrible virus and become whole and happy again.
Chrystal, do you feel comfortable giving Mitts back to this woman? I hate to ask that question, but it tugs at my heart knowing she didn't follow through with Mitt's medical care. I hope I haven't overstepped boundaries, but it worries me.

This should not have happened to Mitts.
We will purr for her and Duchess and Daphne.

Zippy, Sadie & Speedy

You would think a paid employee at a shelter would know, and get, the vaccines needed. Speedy ended up here not because he didn't have a home but because he never got any healthcare. He had diahrrea and was spraying everywhere. I may be called a bitch for this one, but, if you take on the responsibility for a pet then you must be responsible. This includes vetting!

 Ginny&the Fur Family

Please don't give Mitts back to her if he happens to make it. I had to have an IV put in to a cat once and that was no picnic. The cat finaly got well- when I lived in Arizona some one put out a steel trap and my Victoria was let out side by a visitor who had no idea of the coyotes and traps. She stepped in one of the traps it was days before we found her and her front leg was shredded the leg was swelled so bad and the flesh hung in shreds - The vet wanted to remove her front leg and we said no. The vet gave her fluids in an IV. The Vet split the skin into long strips and we kept it wrapped in a walking cast with gauze and neosporin for weeks the strips of skin grew together and finaly she could walk and use the leg - some what stiff but still she could walk - people visiting homes where they have indoor pets should never - never leave the door open an let an animal escape- danger lurks around every corner. This is what happened to sweet Vickie. Never give up the fight keep forcing fluids down dear Mitts and the others - many prayers are going out from here to Mitts Duchess and Daphne -- you are all so great and loving if anyone can save them you can. Some thing is wrong at that shelter. That needs to be seen about and needs much improvement.. keep us posted on the sick kitties - love to all at the rescue and kennel - Ginny & The Fur family

OMG! All we can say is...when do you SLEEP woman! We felt discouraged when we read about Mitts. It's so important to get the first set of shots.Let's all keep sending our love out to Mitts and hopefully she will pull through. As well as Duchess and Daphne.
And hopefully someone will step up and adopt Daphne. She would be an ideal cat for someone who is looking to spoil a one and only!
Tell your eldest daughter she is AWESOME!

Kat & the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde

HUGS!!! We have boosted the signal in our blog, on our lj (as well as a Callahans community there which goes out world-wide) & of course, our blog goes up on FB. We've asked everyone to boost the signal as well. Bless you for everything you do and may the Lord be with you and your daughters as well as Duchess and most especially Mitts.

Purrs & Prayers

What a workload. Don't know how you manage it. We so hope Mitts will make it.

Lee County Clowder

Poor Mitts. Sending comforting purrrrrss and healing purrrrrrayers to you all.

Hang in there, all you kitties. (and beans)

Mindy Slimmer

Although I would tend to agree with everyone that sending Mitts back to this woman would be "nuts", I also wonder if "forgiveness" is at hand. Is she calling about the cat? If not, then she probably could care less. If yes, then she does love Mitts and probably feels like a complete jerk without any of us throwing our judgment on her. But...I do think the shelter needs to educate its workers if this woman did not know better.
Much love,
Mama Mindy of The Slimmer Puggums

Pam and the Califurrrrrnia5

Such sad, sad stories. These poor little girls. How you have the strength to deal with all this is a miracle in itself. We are praying for you ALL!

Milo and Alfie

Milo and Alfie are purring like mad for the kits ~ I so hope and pray they survive. Thank you all for trying so hard to help them.
I was also very sad to hear about Shell ~ and she reminded me of dear little Wintergreen too. I wept for them both when I read the news. Both Shell and Wintergreen are deeply symbolic of mankinds' ignorance and brutality ~ and yet also of mankinds' ability to love and nurture (at least they both knew love at the end). What a pity we don't get more of the latter and less of the former. Sometimes I can barely believe the cruelty of some people; it makes me feel ashamed to be human.

The three of us felines and mommy are pulling for Mitts and Duchess and hope that they both make the turn toward feeling better soon. Mommy has a silly question, but it's only silly if she doesn't ask it, so here goes...We understand the changing of clothes when leaving the isolation area but could the clothing reinfect M and D if they aren't laundered between uses?
Keep us updated and we'll continue to purr for all.

 Ginny&the Fur Family

I hope Mitts made it through the night. I sent prayer messages out to every pet lover I know- I always thought Mitts was a boy but I am finding out Mitts is a girl kitty. Such a beautiful cat. prayers for them all and hope they made it through the night. Night is a bad tme for sick animals or people for some reason. We all hope the days post brings some good news - could not sleep much last night - kept thinking of the struggle that is going on at the rescue with the meds all night - hope you can get some rest. - we are not there in person but we are there in spirit.
