Hi Chrystal, First on behalf of Trudi & Tad I say thank you for a wonderful home & secondly there is no such thing as a "foster fail" and we both know it. Our Gracie has been with us 5 years now and even though she is still a little feral, I am so happy we decided to keep her :)) We would take her to the weekly adoption day & it broke my heart every time she would bury herself under her blanket & hide. People would just walk by this tiny frightened girl & never notice her. She would found outside in the winter so we never knew her past but we did give her a future & will never regret it. Thank you for caring so much xoxo

I love your husband Chrystal....he said such a great thing to you :-) So glad Tad is where he belongs xoxo

Wonderful you and your wonderful husband and thank you for bringing Tad back home to be with Enoch and look how happy they are. So heartwarming, especially on 9/11.

I know you LOVE all your fosters, but sometimes it's just easier to let some go than others. Clearly, Tad, for whatever reason, held a special place in your heart. Sometimes you just need to follow your heart. What a blessing you and your husband are to these lucky animals!! Thanks for being the special people that you are!!

I too have three foster-failures (Renn, Tucker and Cammie); I have Parker, who will probably stay with me for life, and now Raleigh, who isn’t even a foster-cat - he’s just here, and likely to remain so. Only Tungsten (my late first cat) and Josie came with my expectations of actually adopting them.

My concern in keeping a foster-cat is always that in keeping a cat, I deprive another foster of a place when the cat I am keeping should be moving on to his permanent home. But then, I always seem to make room for one more…

We all think it is wonderful that you took Tad back home. He is loved. Love is the answer. Trudi may not be in a forever home but she has a great home and however long she lives she will be cared for and loved. Never think of yourself as a failure. You are a special person and have helped so many to find homes. Keep up the good work. We are all in there with you in spirit.

Sometimes gifters want to remain anonymous, they want to see your joy and find Thank You's hard to handle (silly but true I think).

The Poupounette Gang

How can you possibly berate yourself for falling for those gorgeous two boys? You would have had to be made of stone not to want to keep Tad and Enoch with you forever!
