Ginny& the Fur Family

I have learned so much about wildlife from this blog. Older does such great work. Living along a busy road we get so many babies wandering up in the night having seen our porch light. I always put out extra food for them - they will eat almost anything they find. I try to not give them old stuff that would maybe hurt their stomachs. They are babies left alone. Nature is not kind to babies left alone. I have one that comes every night and is so tiny. Getting bigger all the time. I am sorry the little fawns did not make it. I see so many does dead along the highway and always wonder if a baby is some where left motherless. Thank you older daughter for helping the birds and other wild life. Bless you.

I can imagine that no matter how much you try not to get attached, when they are that cute and you put that much energy and time into them, you can't help it. Hugs to older on the loss and prayers for the other baby deer. Those raccoons are too cute! They look like they grow fast too. Hope the possum babies do well. How sweet that a former rescue stopped by to show her baby where she came from!

Did you know that you can donate to Wild Angels too? They have a link on their facebook page!

Please help find homes for Wishers! share them everywhere! Don't forget donations and wish list items!

I agree with the commenter about how much she's learned about wildlife rehab from the blog posts. Me too!! It's very interesting reading about how Older Daughter cares for the little wild ones. I am so sorry about the fawns! I'm sure she gets so attached to the wild ones in her care, even though she may try not to. It's always devastating to lose a fur baby!!

We are so grateful for Older Daughter, and all she does to help the wildlife in crisis. That's so sad about the fawns. :(
