Angel will go for her “surgery” a week from today. She is still eating well (her soupy canned food mixture that I make and her much-loved Bisques). I’m becoming more nervous every day that ticks by. It's not as much the worry about whether or not this surgery/procedure will be successful. I’m definitely hoping there will be some success, but I really don’t know what to expect. What I’m making myself crazy over is knowing she is going under general anesthesia with a breathing problem. I’m becoming a little terrified about the possibility that she might not survive the event. The big steroid shot has created this current good appetite, but her breathing is no better. So I know I need to try what the vets are offering – a chance to look deeply into her throat and into the nasal passageways (for polyps). And a chance to look for problems with teeth. I hope they will be able to do something that will bring her some relief. I wish that I wasn’t fearing the worst.
Now to the part that Andrea (Celestial Kitties) has instructed me to include in this post. Andrea received a gift to HER paypal for Angel. She immediately notified me that this had come in. I was able to tell Andrea that the same thing had happened here – I’d had three gifts for Angel come in to MY paypal. Andrea explained that because she can’t have a fundraiser for Angel at this time, she wants to send a little gift to the people who sent their support for Angel. So if you will email me a physical address, Andrea wants to send you a token of appreciation.
So Pam – THANK YOU.
And Cynthia – THANK YOU.
And Maria – THANK YOU.
And Terry – THANK YOU.
If you wonderful gift-ers will email me your physical addresses, Andrea wants to send you something.
Also – these gifts came to Winnie’s Wish, clearly with sweet Angel in mind. Along with very much needed dry food and kitty litter came FOUR cartons (10 meals per carton) of the senior Bisques that Angel is able to consume (and loves).
Lori - THANK YOU.
Cynthia - THANK YOU.
I’ve already posted this video, but I’m posting it again today because there’s no way I can describe in words how wonderful Angel is. You have to see it for yourself.
See you tomorrow.
