The week before Christmas I posted pictures on this blog of my SIX foster kittens. Well, I’m happy to announce that two of those six have been adopted. Yippee!!
There are Storm and Tuna. They’ve received not one inquiry. Storm is a black cat and we all know that means she won’t be one of the most popular (even with her gorgeous eyes and wonderful personality). Tuna’s fur is medium-long and she’s a bobtail. I did truly think she would be chosen long before now. But no. Then there’s little Trudi. She continues to have health problems. She’s had a couple of inquiries, but as soon as it is revealed that there are some physical issues, there are no return calls.
That leaves Tasha and the two fluffballs – Cashmere and Leo the Lion. By looking at their pictures, you’d guess that Leo the Lion was definitely one of The Chosen Ones. But he is the one who is still here. His picture was circulated via the shelter’s FB page, and there were over 6,000 views. (Way more than for any of my other five fosters.) Yet he has not been chosen. Tasha and Cashmere are the lucky ones. On the very day that I posted a video of sweet little Tasha “pitting” (making muffins), the shelter received an inquiry. That woman filled out the application, was approved, and Tasha now has her Forever Home.
The next day I posted pictures of Cashmere and Leo the Lion. By day’s end, a man had driven over from the neighboring state to fill out an application for Cashmere. He said his family very much wanted to adopt her, and that she looked exactly like the cat they already have. The application was approved and Cashmere has moved on to her Forever Home.
There are four foster sweethearts still here. Keep your fingers crossed, Friends.
Have a great weekend.
