Well . . . Leo the Lion has been adopted!
I received a message from a shelter volunteer on Friday morning. She said an application had come in for Leo and the woman wanted to talk with me to make sure Leo was a good fit for their family. We messaged back and forth, I was quite pleased, and in the meantime the shelter approved the application. I packed Leo up and sent him with my daughters when they went to work Saturday morning. The woman has stayed in contact with me, and Leo is already beginning to adjust.
That leaves me with three fosters – Storm, Tuna, and Trudi. Storm and Tuna live in my upstairs cat room. They are MUCH bigger than Trudi. So I won’t be moving her in with them even though she is now all alone in our downstairs bathroom. Besides, with her weird conditions, I feel like I need to see her off and on all day long. Of course, I don’t want her to be lonely and sad. Oh, dear . . . I fear this might mean she will be venturing out of the bathroom to mingle with our dogs and cats. She has NO fears. The couple of times she has escaped the bathroom, she marches right into the middle of our crew. The problem is that I think it’s even harder to let a foster go if they’ve been out and about in our house with our animals. She REALLY needs an adopter NOW.
I’m so happy to get another gift from Lori. This is her Happy New Year gift to the Wishers.
Lori – THANK YOU.
Here is a new video of Trudi. I’ve posted it on the shelter FB page. Keep your fingers crossed, Friends.
See you tomorrow.
