Today is National Cat Day. I’ve been celebrating all week by posting about some of the adoptable kitties here at Winnie’s Wish. If you are just joining me today, do please scroll down through the previous posts and learn about some of the cats and kittens here who are looking for their very own forever homes. Or take a look into the sidebar (to the right). You will find the pictures of the Wishers waiting to be adopted. And if you KEEP scrolling down, you will see the pictures of the Wishers who have been lucky enough to be adopted over the last several years. (Some of the adopted kitties’ pictures are attached to stories from the people who adopted them – explaining WHY it was worth it!)
You can visit the same site that I visited by clicking here. But if you don’t have time to visit the site, I DO want to share one thing from there because these are my absolute beliefs, too. I copied & pasted this directly from their website:
What We Believe
We believe that every cat should have a forever home where they are safe, warm, loved, cherished and regarded as FAMILY.
We believe that cats are PURfect best friends and are among the funniest animals on the planet.
We believe that life just isn't the same without a cat in it.
We believe in adoption to help reduce the number of unwanted cats that flood shelters and rescues every day.
We believe in spaying & neutering as a way to end the suffering and overpopulation of cats around the globe.
We believe that no matter where a cat comes from, being a cat parent is a precious gift and a responsibility one should not take lightly. Please make sure you can properly care for a cat before you commit to opening your heart and home.
If you’d like to celebrate National Cat Day in the most wonderful way possible, be part of the answer and contact me about adopting a Winnie’s Wish cat!

Another great way to help Winnie’s Wish celebrate National Cat Day would be to donate an item to the upcoming auction to benefit the kitties here. Andrea would LOVE to see more items come into the auction – which opens in just over a week!! Yay!!
I don’t blog on the weekends, so in order not to miss Halloween, let me end with pictures of some of the Wishers who dressed up early for the weekend fun.
Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween!
