New Year's Eve. The last day of 2013. A brand new year begins tomorrow.
My wish for you in 2014 is Health & Happiness. That means having a dog or cat (or many) in your life because both health and happiness are by-products of having a furry family member.
My wish for Winnie's Wish is a 2014 full of perfect adoptions.
Just so you know, I DID bring my sweet Circe home yesterday. All four kitties are now safe and happy, back in the cathouse that will once again be home. I am greatly relieved to have these four sweethearts back. Maybe someone out there is looking for a long-haired beauty to offer a forever home to.
And one final note on this final day of the year. The last order of bricks arrived here at some point during the holiday blur. I will open the boxes and take a picture of each brick. And as soon as the stories begin to arrive, I'll share those brick stories on this blog. By early Spring (or before if the weather should cooperate), this last group of bricks will go into the Winnie's Wish Walkway, completing the project and forever memorializing the souls represented on those bricks. I assure you that these bricks (like every brick already there) will be placed in their spots with love and reverence.
For those of you who ordered a brick during this final round, as soon as you get a chance, please send me the story that goes with your brick. I'll start putting those posts together as soon as the stories arrive.
Now out with the old and in with the new . . .
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
P.S. Toast one for Winnie's Wish tonight, Friends. To a 2014 full of fantastic forever families for the felines!
