Over the weekend, I learned how to do something I have never done before. I learned how to add words to pictures and how to put two pictures side by side. Andrea (Celestial Kitties) is the one who directed me to the program I ended up using. Younger Daughter helped me get started. My aunt is now referring to me as a computer geek. (lol) I’m amazed that I’ve been able to do this. I still find most things about computers to be extremely intimidating. But Cheri (Wildcat Woods) said this would be a good way to catch attention on Facebook which could ultimately turn into an adoption or book sale. So I took the plunge. AND I DID IT!
For those of you who don’t Facebook, I’m posting some of the new pictures here. It wasn’t that long ago that I did not Facebook myself. But now that I am a full-fledged computer geek with Facebook expertise, deep knowledge of the computer, and mastery of all things technologically creative, I don’t want to just drive off and leave you behind simply because you are not as advanced as I am. (I sure hope everybody reading this “gets” sarcasm. I wouldn’t want to offend any Sheldon-like folks out there - smile.)
Here they are. The most elaborate advancements in the cyber artistic world. Drumroll . . .
It's almost like somebody came in and took over my body for the weekend. Believe me, friends, this is one heck of an accomplishment for me. See you tomorrow for a brick story.

The Fur Family are so proud or you. These look so great and it sure tells the true story of why you and all the others in blog land do what you do and keep on doing it - the furries need you and all the others who rescue. I am not in the rescue -but I try to help cripled ones who come my way. Most don't want a furry who is not perfect and yet the un- perfect ones need love the most. please some one out there consider adopting Shiloe who is walking again thanks to you Chrystal. A shout out for the new face - book super hero who will no doubt have more aqdoptions with the new before and after pictures... great job - we all are with you -- Ginny & The Fur Family

::grin:: How far you've come! Anyone who has followed your blog from (gosh darn, for me it's been almost from the beginning!!) the early days (or had the privilege of reading your pawsome book!) knows what progress you've made! You were so tentative at first. How sure you were that you could never do anything beyond just posting some pictures. Go YOU! Not only are you one of the most awesome foster moms on the planet (Audrey gushed about you on her ride home so long ago and still talks about you) and an incredible woman who is determined that every cat & dog should have the best Forever Home ev-ah! I noticed over the weekend that you'd added yet *another* layer of awesomeness to your repertoire!!

We enjoyed the photos as you put them up on FB! Well done!
This reminds us that we haven't (at least we don't think we have...) done our brick write-up yet.

Hi Chrystal!
Mom and I are super esctatic about your new computer venture. Woohoo! We love the pictures and know they will soon be passed around on different blogs and facebook for their humor and sweetness. We don't do facebook (me--time waster, mom-paranoid) but we celebrate that this will get you to more potential adopters. Mom's favorite was the Sallie told Autumn...and my favorite was Are you listening?...needless to say the last picture is pure golden sweetness.
Much Love,
The Slimmer girls

They look awesome! And what a story each picture tells! They say a picture tells a thousand words, but by combining two, you've said two thousand at a time!
The before and after pictures really get me. Wow, you make a huge difference in these animals lives. Hugs to you for that!
Now, dear readers, we can, and really need to, help continue these stories! We need more complete happy endings! Yes, they are rescued, yes, they are healed, cleaned, fed and loved, but now they need something BIG! They need forever homes!
We need to share, adopt, pass the word, tweet, adopt, do everything we can to help these babies get homes of their own!
Are you listening? :)
Don't forget you can donate to help too!

from one techo-dork to another - YOU ROCK!! :)
I am still laughing about Kyan telling Opal that she isn't listening.....the only thing that would have been funnier would have been if it was Emma rather than Opal. (though I took the boys in for vaccines yesterday and they were in the carrier with Mist. they were all "mom mom mom mom" and I swear I saw her eyes roll.....)

Congratulations! There's so much to learn out there and we feel it's such an accomplishment when we learn a new skill. Mom Paula is having fun exploring Photoshop.
