The way I understand LIVESTRONG day in the blogosphere is that it is a time to post something on our blogs to focus attention on cancer. Most of us have been touched in some way or another by the disease. Today we turn our blogs YELLOW in memory of those who have moved on, in tribute to those who are still fighting, in hopes of a day WITHOUT cancer. I have lost friends - both human and animal - to cancer. And I have friends fighting AND BEATING it. To those human friends reading this, you know who you are. You know I’m cheering you on. To those of you who have lost someone, I send you strength and peace.
This is my third year to post for LIVESTRONG. I will highlight the animals in my life who have been affected by cancer in the last year.
My precious Waggles. Her story here.
Sweet, sweet Daphne. Her story here.
Jane, who hates to have her picture taken. Her story here. She is still with us and doing really well.
Foster dog Gandy, who is terminal. His story here. He is still doing well - no suffering at this point.
Here are Radio and Jenny popping in to say LIVESTRONG.
