Monday Computer Problems

In an attempt to assure ourselves that we hadn't been infected with the virus  that has been on the news, my husband and I attempted to use a suggested scan system.  It has taken three hours to figure it out.  We have scanned and we are now trying to use the software to "fix" some of the problems we discovered.  I am a technological idiot.   My husband is much better about these things than I am, but when it comes to the internal workings of our computer, he is often also at a loss. 

I had hoped to tell you about a fifth little kitten that we rescued.  I will do that tomorrow or Wednesday depending on what happens today . .  . because - if a certain potentially wonderful thing happens today, I will share it tomorrow.  Thursday I will share with you my BIG dream (and ask for your help).  And next week, I'll start the brick stories!

*Quick update* - The potentially wonderful thing DID happen, so that will be tomorrow's post.  Also - for my friends who try to email me today - my email stopped working, seemingly as a result of the scan/fix-it program we have been running for the last six hours.   Geez . . .

Oy, computer problems! What a pain! I hope you get things back on track soon!

In the meantime, dear readers, what do you say we have a look at all the kitties in the sidebar that are still looking for homes? Sure kittens are great! But so are adult kitties! And they need us to help them find their forever home. So look at each kitty in the face and say to yourself, "Hmm, (name of your friend/family member/coworker) would make a great home for him/her!" Then hound.. um, ask and suggest strongly that they look at the kitty and consider adopting! If it works right, we'll have people fighting over who gets them!

While you're at it, check out the donate button, I'm sure with all these extra kitties to feed, vet, and care for, a few extra dollars would be greatly appreciated!

We did the scan thing here and it was a quick fix program so I hope it did its job. Now you have us all wondering about the potentially great thing.. I do hope it is good news about an adoption. I agree with Mindy - Frosting needs a good forever home. Andrea always says it right and that is the truth - she has a great way to telling everyone to think about a new pet in the house to go with the pets already there or just a new family member pet. Such great people read this blog and I love to hear what they have to say. Maybe someone out there can think of a way to get more furries adopted. That would wondrful-- rain is great here last night - the crops need much more. Ginny & The Fur Family - have a good day -
